For the specific needs of your target audience group, the combination of GRI with other frameworks such as SASB, TCFD, UN SDGs is beneficial (contact us to learn more).
We are GRI Certified Sustainability Professionals. Currently, 2 offers available in 2024 (max. 3 offers per year within our capacity).
Reporting is based on double materiality for a multi-stakeholder audience, including investors. (This is more akin to regulatory filing via the European Single Electronic Format (ESEF) using iXBRL, with a potential future requirement for licensing.)
ESRS is set to become mandatory with the enforcement starting from large undertakings on 1st January 2024. To address the resource constraints of SMEs, the directive introduces a simplified version of ESRS for listed SMEs (ESRS LSME) and voluntary reporting standard for non-listed SMEs (VSME). The exposure drafts of ESRS LSME and VSME were approved to launch in January 2024 for public consultation.
Our reporting service covers the disclosure requirements of the ESRS and the EU taxonomy, facilitated through our partnerships with digital solution providers.
Reporting based on financial materiality for investor audience. Currently, two standards are published - General requirements (IFRS S1) and Climate (IFRS S2). They are effective for annual reporting periods beginning on or after 1 January 2024.
IFRS S1 integrates and builds on the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), therefore TCFD was taken over by IFRS foundation.
The industry-specific Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) standards is still applicable in the absence of the specific disclosures from IFRS foundation.
Let's stay tuned to the latest progress!
"To be effective, the standards will need to be brought into regulation around the world, together with associated enforcement, monitoring, governance and controls, assurance, and training."
- Veronica Poole, global corporate reporting leader at Deloitte.
